About the Site and Myself

JoostPort.com was developed as a spinoff of my old website Webxdesigns.net. WebXDesigns was a showcase website much like this one, but with more a business application to it. That site no longer exists and I have decided I really only want to manage a showcase site. The Idea started back in early 2009 and has progressed since then to become what you see now. I have several preliminary layouts of the site that I was just not completely pleased with.

My name is Justin “Joost” Therieau and I am 22 years of age. I am a graduate of New Hampshire Technical Institute. While attending NHTI I majored in Information Technology. The focus of my studies was on Application and Web Development. Some skills covered were basics in business web page layouts, ASP.NET, Java, VB.NET, C#.NET, and Database Implementation.

I currently work at the Hinsdale School District as a Technical Support Specialist. My position consists of responsibilities ranging from help desk requests for software or hardware issues, to network and server management, to designing and implementing the Middle/High School’s and District’s web sites. This is my third year working full time in my position with the first two years having been a split between Hinsdale School District and Winchester School District.

I do offer my expertise in web and graphic design to anyone. Since it is not my primary way to make a living my prices are very reasonable. However, I am very busy so for an average graphic may take up 3 days to design. If you are local I also offer personal computer service. I have a lot of experience removing malware and viruses. I also can do hardware upgrades/replacement or full PC builds.
